On the eve of the Shanghai Auto Show on April 22nd, at the TIME DAY Tencent Smart Travel Technology Open Day, Tencent Cloud unveiled a brand-new in-cabin edge large language model. This model is built upon Tencent's HunYuan 2B small parameter model and is fine-tuned with automotive industry-specific data and enhanced with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) for local knowledge retrieval. It aims to achieve accurate question answering in both general and in-vehicle knowledge domains.
With this in-cabin edge large language model, vehicles can provide users with real-time services including driving behavior suggestions, vehicle operation guidance, troubleshooting, and potential driving safety risk alerts, truly achieving an intelligent experience of "on-the-go reminders." This launch marks a significant step forward for Tencent in enhancing the intelligence level of in-vehicle AI.
