Nucleus AI, a startup headquartered in California, has recently launched its first product: a large language model with 22 billion parameters, licensed under the open-source MIT license, which can be fine-tuned for various tasks. Nucleus AI plans to focus on agriculture, leveraging AI research to build an operating system that ultra-optimizes agricultural supply and demand, addressing various challenges faced by farmers due to climate change. The company also intends to release language models of multiple scales, as well as two RetNet models. Nucleus AI states that their algorithms currently do not compete with those of other companies, primarily focusing on internal product development to enter the agricultural sector.
