Microsoft has recently announced a comprehensive upgrade to its online storage service, OneDrive, introducing several new artificial intelligence features. Among these, the OneDrive Copilot assistant can provide users with summaries of file contents without the need to open the files themselves. Copilot can also predict user needs and offer operational suggestions. Additionally, a new AI-based search function will be rolled out in both the OneDrive web version and mobile app. These new features are expected to be officially launched for users by the end of 2023 to early 2024, further enhancing the intelligence and user experience of OneDrive. Beyond OneDrive, Microsoft also plans to promote the Copilot AI assistant in other products, such as operating systems like Windows.
