Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments jointly issued the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Computing Power Infrastructure," which proposes that by 2025, the computing power scale will exceed 300 EFLOPS, with intelligent computing power accounting for 35%, promoting balanced development of computing power between the eastern and western regions. The plan calls for concentrating computing power in the western regions and areas with well-developed artificial intelligence, constructing intelligent computing centers, and promoting the coordinated development of intelligent and general-purpose computing power to meet diverse business needs. Additionally, it emphasizes the acceleration of edge computing power construction to achieve integrated development of cloud, edge, and endpoint. The plan also highlights the need to strengthen the layout of industry-specific computing power to provide technical support for the digital transformation of traditional industries.
