On October 24th, iFLYTEK unveiled the Xunfei Spark 3.0 large model. Liu Qingfeng, Chairman of iFLYTEK, stated at the launch event that the Spark 3.0 model is far ahead of its competitors in the industry in terms of code writing and mathematical problem-solving capabilities. He identified the two major evolutionary directions for large models as the expansion of model scale and the realization of personalized AI assistants. Liu Qingfeng also revealed that the greatest pressure from the partnership with Huawei comes from his own mindset, as it could potentially affect the speed of product iteration. Regarding commercialization, he anticipates significant revenue effects next year, with an expectation to cover investments with revenue growth by 2025. Liu Cong, President of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, believes that by the first half of next year, there will be a clear differentiation among the top companies in the large model field, with the 3.5 model scale being a critical threshold.
