Baidu Releases Q3 Financial Report: Wenxin Yiyan User Count Hits 70 Million

Baidu's Wenxin Intelligent Agent Platform has announced full integration with the DeepSeek model, now available for free to all users. The Wenxin Intelligent Agent Platform, launched by Baidu, is a platform for building intelligent agents based on the Wenxin large model, aimed at helping users quickly create and deploy intelligent agent applications.
Today, Baidu's Xiaodu officially announced its integration with DeepSeek. Previously, Baidu Maps, Baidu Search, Baidu Apollo Smart Cabin Model, Wenxin Yiyan, and Wenxiaoyan App have successively integrated with DeepSeek.
Recently, Baidu founder Li Yanhong elaborated on the reasons behind the company's decision to open source the Wenxin large model 4.5 series during Baidu's Q4 2024 and full-year earnings call. Li emphasized that Baidu gained valuable insights from the DeepSeek project, namely that open sourcing the best models can significantly promote user adoption and recognition. He explained that when a model is open sourced, people's curiosity drives them to experiment, and this natural exploratory behavior helps the model be more widely applied in real-world scenarios.
