Aug X launched Augie, an AI-powered video production platform that introduces a voice cloning feature, allowing users to read ad scripts without booking a recording studio. Primarily catering to marketers and social media teams, Augie enables users to quickly add voiceovers, photos, text, and music to videos without needing to learn audio and video editing. Users can record or upload sound clips, which can then be cloned for use in other short videos. Augie entered public beta in May, and currently, all users have access to the voice cloning feature. However, in the future, there may be restrictions on video length, quality, and the number of cloned voices for non-paying users.
