After the intense competition known as the "hundred-model battle," AI-native applications have garnered significant attention. However, they are facing challenges in scaling up production. Entrepreneurs and industry experts are optimistic about the opportunities in the application layer, yet nearly 200 projects have failed to materialize. The issue lies in the tight coupling of large models with applications, resulting in insufficient transformation. A new approach proposes decoupling large models from applications, creating a model where multiple large models correspond to a single application, thus redefining the division of labor in the industry chain. This could potentially spawn large model service providers, facilitating the scaled application of AI by businesses, and forming the embryonic stage of a new ecosystem.
