Translated data: A multi-institutional team in South Korea has successfully diagnosed children with autism using an artificial intelligence system based on deep learning. The research team utilized this system to scan the retinal images of 958 children, achieving a 100% accuracy rate. However, the system's accuracy in estimating the position of children on the autism spectrum is relatively low. This study aids in early diagnosis of autism and provides more assistance, but further research is needed to determine its accuracy in younger children.
