Microsoft has partnered with French AI startup Mistral to help the latter bring its AI models to market. Microsoft will provide support to Mistral while also holding a minority stake. This collaboration makes Mistral the second company to offer commercial language models on Microsoft's Azure cloud computing platform. In December last year, Mistral achieved a valuation of 2 billion euros in a funding round worth approximately 4 billion euros.
