Alibaba Cloud Launches AI Video Generation Tool Live Portrait

At the intersection of women's rights and product quality, an AI-generated song titled 'Sanitary Napkin Song' has recently sparked heated discussions on social media. Xiaohongshu blogger 'Women Speak Women' presents powerful lyrics that vividly portray the awkwardness and inconveniences faced by women in daily life. This song digitally encapsulates the arduous journey women endure during their menstrual period: over the course of approximately 40 years, women use around 15,000 sanitary napkins for about 2,400 days, costing a significant amount while the quality remains concerning, as straightforwardly highlighted in the lyrics.
Recently, the UK's digital regulator Ofcom released a compelling report exploring gender-based differences in online behavior. The report shows that men significantly surpass women in the usage of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and online dating platforms. According to the survey, approximately 50% of men reported using generative AI in the past year, whereas only 33% of women reported the same. Meanwhile, 29% of women stated they are unfamiliar with generative AI, and 30% indicated that they do not know how to use the technology.
Baidu AI's Wenxin Yiyuan AI painting technology has received a major upgrade, now supporting one-click generation of images in multiple aspect ratios, greatly simplifying the image preparation process for new media. The professional version of Wenxin Yiyuan AI painting technology allows users to input the desired image aspect ratio, and the system can automatically generate images in multiple sizes, covering various needs within a width-to-height ratio of 2:1. For example, simply adding the aspect ratio term '3:4' to the prompt will prompt the system to generate images of the corresponding size. This technology not only improves work efficiency but also enhances visual effects, significantly benefiting new media.
