Robin Li, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Baidu, revealed during the company's Q4 and full-year 2023 earnings call that Baidu has been continuously reducing the inference costs of its Ernie large-scale model, which is now at 1% of the March last year's version. The daily invocation of the Ernie model has exceeded 50 million times, a 190% increase from the previous quarter; by December, about 26,000 enterprises had invoked the Ernie model, a 150% increase from the previous quarter.
