Reports indicate that original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Quanta, Compal, and Inventec initially anticipated a significant wave of replacement demand in the notebook computer market following the launch of their new AI PC products in the third quarter. However, after assessing the recent progress in alleviating upstream and downstream material shortages, these major manufacturers have downgraded their previously optimistic outlook to a more conservative stance. They now predict the peak growth period to occur between next year and the following year. Industry insiders in the supply chain reveal that demand for notebook computers is gradually emerging and has risen to a year-on-year increase of 3.6%, with a positive outlook for a recovery in PC shipments.
