Website Home (ChinaZ.com) June 12 News: In a recent controversy surrounding the launch of a 360AI new product, a photograph of a woman in ancient costume has become the focal point. AIGC creator DynamicWang accuses the 360AI product launch of using his AI-generated image without permission and demands compensation. However, Vice President of 360, Liang Zhihui, responded that the image was a redrawn version by the 360AI browser and questioned the demand for a tenfold purchase of the original image model, expressing willingness to resolve copyright issues through legal channels.

It is reported that the dispute began with the 360AI new product launch on June 6. At the launch event, Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, showcased the "partial redrawing" feature of the 360AI browser, demonstrating the powerful capabilities of AI technology by redrawing a photograph of a woman in ancient costume. However, this image was pointed out by DynamicWang as a stolen version of his AI-generated image.

DynamicWang, in an interview with the media, stated that the ancient costume photograph was generated using his self-trained and debugged AI drawing model, and the image shown at the 360AI launch was a redrawn version based on his original. He considers this an act of infringement and advocates for compensation.

However, Vice President Liang Zhihui has a different view. He stated on his social media that while there are differences in details between the two images, the one used by the 360AI browser is a redrawn version, not the original. He questioned the demand for a tenfold purchase of the original image model as beyond the scope of understanding and expressed willingness to resolve copyright issues through legal channels.

Liang Zhihui also pointed out that although the rights of generated content and whether it is protected by copyright law are legally ambiguous, as a product manager, he immediately contacted the author to express apologies for any oversight or issues. He emphasized the importance of apologies and called for fair and open discussions to promote the development of the domestic AIGC industry.
