LinkedIn has recently rolled out a series of new AI-powered features designed to help users find jobs more easily, tailor their resumes, and even receive advice from AI chatbots. These new features will initially be available to premium subscribers worldwide who use English.

One of the tools allows users to search for jobs on LinkedIn through natural language input prompts. For example, "Find me a remote marketing job in Detroit with a salary of at least $110,000." This search method is expected to be an effective way to discover potential job opportunities.

Another feature can review your resume and provide personalized advice for specific positions. Users can upload their resumes, receive feedback, and interactively edit them with AI assistance. Additionally, there is a tool to help you write a cover letter from scratch using AI.

These features complement other AI-powered tools that LinkedIn began testing last year, which are exclusively available to premium subscribers. Furthermore, LinkedIn has started piloting AI personas of several experts, allowing users to engage in conversations to learn more about business. Tomer Cohen, LinkedIn's Chief Product Officer, stated that the responses users receive are trained by experts and represent personalized insights tailored to each learner's unique needs.

Moreover, LinkedIn has promised to broadly enhance the platform's search functionality through generative AI, although specific details have not been disclosed. Cohen said, "With our new search features, every search interaction will become smarter—whether you're looking for people, exploring jobs, making connections, or seeking knowledge and answers." He committed to rolling out the enhanced search features in the "coming weeks."
