Recently, Baidu CEO Robin Li shared his vision for the future of AI at the Yabuli event, suggesting that intelligent agents will become the new websites of the AI era, with millions of such agents forming a vast ecosystem.
Li believes that the barrier to creating intelligent agents is sufficiently low, akin to the creation of websites during the internet era. He explained that just as websites can be viewed and easily modified through a browser's source code, intelligent agents can be created by naming them and setting their response rules. He anticipates that in the future, various industries will develop unique intelligent agents tailored to their specific scenarios and data.
Intelligent agents are not just conversational tools; they also possess the ability to reflect and plan. Li pointed out that if an intelligent agent makes a mistake in a conversation, it can self-reflect and identify the issue; moreover, they have planning capabilities, able to invoke appropriate tools to achieve their goals.
Li emphasized that the collaborative capabilities of intelligent agents will significantly drive ecosystem development, comparable to the collaboration between different departments within a company. He also mentioned that businesses should leverage their data advantages to accumulate competitive advantages in intelligent agent development, with large models transforming ToB services far beyond the internet.
Additionally, Li predicts that the impact of large models on the B-side will become increasingly significant, marking the profound influence of AI technology in the commercial sector.
