The survey results show that 81% of AI users believe that AI tools have not only improved their work efficiency but also enhanced the quality of their work. Additionally, employees using AI scored higher on other engagement indicators, including a 13% increase in interactions with relevant personnel, documents, and resources, an 18% improvement in work-life balance, a 23% increase in stress management abilities, a 24% rise in overall job satisfaction, a 25% enhancement in job flexibility, and a 29% boost in job enthusiasm.
Other key findings include:
- Since January 2024, the urgency among executives to integrate AI tools into business operations has increased sevenfold, becoming the top priority, surpassing concerns about inflation or broader economic issues.
- 73% of office workers believe that the AI boom is justified and that this technology "will have a significant impact." Those who have used AI tools are even more convinced.
- Enthusiasm is growing: Currently, 47% of global office workers are enthusiastic about AI handling work tasks (compared to 42% at the beginning of the year).
- The desire to use AI varies by age and gender. The survey explains: "The youngest employees show the greatest enthusiasm for AI, with 55% of those aged 18 to 29 expressing excitement about AI and automation handling part of their work, compared to 33% of those aged 60 and above."
Furthermore, the study indicates that AI can do much more than just boost productivity. Accenture's research suggests that companies applying generative AI to customer-related initiatives are expected to see their revenue grow 25% higher than those focusing solely on productivity in five years.
The 2024 Marketing Landscape report reveals that marketers are adopting AI as their top priority and challenge to achieve mass personalization and improve efficiency. The latest report shows that one-third of marketing teams have implemented AI in their workflow.
