Recently, AMD announced in its Q4 2024 earnings call that it plans to accelerate the launch of its next-generation data center GPU series - AMD Instinct MI350. AMD CEO Lisa Su stated that the MI350 will undergo sample testing with 'key customers' this quarter and will ramp up production and shipping by mid-year. Su noted that AMD initially planned to launch the MI350 in the second half of 2025, but the product’s progress has exceeded expectations, coupled with strong customer demand.

The platform aims to help developers tackle the demands of computing resources, memory management, and software optimization to improve work efficiency. ROCm 6.3 integrates multiple advanced tools and optimization features, striving for a balance between performance and efficiency.
