AMD Announces Early Release of Next-Generation Data Center GPU: AMD Instinct MI350
Recently, AMD announced in its Q4 2024 earnings call that it plans to accelerate the launch of its next-generation data center GPU series - AMD Instinct MI350. AMD CEO Lisa Su stated that the MI350 will undergo sample testing with 'key customers' this quarter and will ramp up production and shipping by mid-year. Su noted that AMD initially planned to launch the MI350 in the second half of 2025, but the product’s progress has exceeded expectations, coupled with strong customer demand.
