Led by Edtech Insiders, this new generative AI map and database categorizes over 250 AI-powered tools into use cases for teaching and learning. The case categories on the map include teaching materials, assessment and feedback, teacher practice support, professional teacher learning, student support, and social tools. Each category has more specific use cases, such as curriculum planning.

Adobe has launched Adobe Express for Education, an AI-assisted platform designed for the educational sector, with new features aimed at providing safe and responsible AI tools for students and educators to enhance the learning experience. The platform includes a real-time assignment system, multimedia presentations, animation capabilities, and themed templates to encourage creative projects. It is free for K-12 teachers and students and compatible with various educational software. New AI features include template generation, image creation, and personalized coloring page tools, without AI text generation to protect students' privacy.

OpenAI recently launched the educational edition of ChatGPT aimed at educators worldwide. This version can assist teachers in role-playing scenarios, provide translations for non-native English speakers, and help students verify the accuracy of information generated by ChatGPT. Despite concerns about students using AI for cheating, OpenAI encourages educators to maintain critical thinking and incorporate ChatGPT as a new teaching tool in the classroom.
