Japan to Lead the Development of International Guidelines for Generative AI
As the G7 presidency, Japan will take the lead in formulating guidelines for generative AI. The IGF Internet Governance Forum will convene in Kyoto to discuss AI regulation and other related topics. The outcomes of these discussions will be applied to Japan's Hiroshima AI Process. The G7 will establish a code of conduct for generative AI developers, which will require the disclosure of system information and mandate the use of digital watermarks to identify AI-generated content.
