French AI startup Mistral has recently announced the launch of a new series of generative AI models, specifically designed for edge devices such as laptops and mobile phones. Mistral has named this series 'Les Ministraux' to meet the growing demand for local processing and privacy-first solutions. The newly released Les Ministraux series includes two models: Ministral3B and Ministral8B.

NVIDIA has launched the new generation of RTX 500 and RTX 1000 series laptop GPUs, featuring the Ada Lovelace architecture and equipped with NPU for AI computing. The RTX 500/1000 will be rolled out gradually, targeting consumers and entry-level workstations. The RTX 500 offers 14 times generative AI performance, while the RTX 1000 increases photo editing speeds by 3 times.
