Recently, Intel announced that its Data Center and AI (DCAI) business head, Justin Hotard, will officially leave on April 1 to take over as CEO of Nokia. Hotard has held the position of senior vice president and general manager at Intel for only one year, during which he has contributed to the stable development of the company's DCAI business. He expressed his gratitude to the Intel team for their efforts over the past year on LinkedIn and wished them greater success in their future endeavors.

Nokia plans to establish a new Open Innovation Lab in Dubai to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in the Middle East and Africa. The lab will focus on innovations in the cloud RAN space and will collaborate with strategic partners such as Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to enhance network efficiency and performance. It will also showcase industrial wireless networks and industrial edge applications, as well as the application of AI and machine learning solutions to accelerate network automation and optimization. This initiative will strengthen Nokia's collaboration with global strategic partners in the Middle East and Africa and accelerate the adoption of new technologies in the region.
