The dating app Tinder is seeking to gain traction through artificial intelligence technology in response to its declining user engagement. This Match Group-owned dating app plans to launch brand new AI discovery and matching features in the upcoming quarter to offer users a fresh way to meet friends, departing from the traditional 'swipe' mechanism. Data indicates that Tinder is facing significant challenges, with a year-over-year decline of approximately 8% in monthly active users this January and direct revenue of $476 million, falling short of the previous expectation of $480 million to $485 million.
