Make-A-Character (Mach) is a user-friendly framework designed to generate lifelike 3D avatars from text descriptions. Leveraging the power of large language and vision models for text intent understanding and intermediate image generation, it then proceeds through a series of human-centered visual perception and 3D generation modules. Our system provides an intuitive way for users to create controllable, realistic, and fully realized 3D characters in under 2 minutes, while also seamlessly integrating with existing CG pipelines for dynamic expression.
