At the Wanwang Renewal Launch Event, Alibaba Cloud announced the AI transformation of its domain name products and services, introducing the first domain name AI application based on the Tongyi large model. Users can now generate creative domain names with a single click by inputting brand information and industry sector, utilizing AI's intelligent naming function. The AI will perform semantic analysis, evaluate the meaning of the domain name, and filter out available options.
Additionally, Alibaba Cloud has expanded its popular domain name resources, launching over 40 new domain suffixes including ".ai", ".car", and ".me", bringing the total number of registrable domain suffixes to over 200, with more than 20 million global domain names available for trade. To facilitate management, Alibaba Cloud Wanwang has also introduced a mini-program interface, allowing users to conveniently query, register, and manage domain names on their mobile phones.
Alibaba Cloud has also launched the "Brand Support Plan," offering new users a promotional price of 1 RMB for domain registration in the first year, and providing limited-time discounts on popular domain names such as ".cn" and ".ai", with discounts up to 28%. Alibaba Cloud has integrated and upgraded its systematic services related to domain names, including domain registration, website construction, ICP filing, DNS resolution services, and domain name valuation. Alibaba Cloud's global DNS cluster nodes and DDoS protection capabilities ensure website security.
Currently, Alibaba Cloud Wanwang has accumulated over 40 million domain registrations and serves over 2 million users. This upgrade aims to provide global businesses and entrepreneurs with smarter, richer, and more inclusive domain services, marking a new advancement in Alibaba Cloud's application of "Cloud Computing + AI" technology in the domain name sector.
