Quantum Systems stated that these new funds will be used to accelerate its international expansion and further drive innovation. The company will enhance its production capabilities and increase investments in software and artificial intelligence (AI) research and development. Florian Seibel, CEO and co-founder of Quantum Systems, said: "With the support of new investors Porsche and Notion, we not only gain financial resources but also establish partnerships that can drive innovation, which is crucial for European technological sovereignty, security, and resilience."

Quantum Systems' AI-driven drones are widely used across various industries, including mining, construction, agriculture, utilities, public safety, and defense, capable of capturing, analyzing, and processing sensor data from the air. The Trinity Pro drone is designed specifically for commercial mapping, while smaller models like Vector, Scorpion, and Twister are used in military applications.

Recently, Quantum Systems and Airbus Defence & Space successfully conducted a formation test with seven AI-controlled drones at the Airbus drone center in Manching. This test, conducted under the German military's KITU2 (AI for tactical drones) research, paired Quantum Systems' Vector and Scorpion drones with Airbus's multi-purpose drones. All drone reconnaissance data was merged in real-time, forming a common situational picture and integrating into Airbus's Fortion joint command and control (C2) combat management system.

Sven Kruck, Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director of Quantum Systems, said: "We are not only focused on expanding the capabilities of drone technology but also on providing real advantages for our customers and users in practical scenarios. The ultimate goal is to protect soldiers and enhance security. In the future, software-driven and AI-supported drone systems will become the norm."
