Nvidia has recently released a new container security application that allows developers to customize it to meet their needs for AI-driven network security. Global consulting firm Deloitte has been announced as one of the first users.

Nvidia's NIM Agent Blueprint includes everything enterprise developers need to build and deploy customized generative AI applications, which can quickly analyze vulnerabilities in software containers. The application, by utilizing Nvidia's NIM microservices, the Morpheus cybersecurity AI framework, cuVS, and RAPIDS for accelerated data analysis, can reduce enterprise-scale Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) analysis from days to just seconds.

Software containers contain a vast number of packages and versions, some of which may have security vulnerabilities. Traditionally, security analysts need to review these packages to understand any potential security vulnerabilities in software deployments. These manual processes are tedious, time-consuming, and prone to errors, and are difficult to effectively automate due to the complexity of software packages, dependencies, configurations, and operating system environments.

The GPU-accelerated end-to-end AI framework of the NIM Agent Blueprint allows developers to create optimized applications for filtering, processing, and classifying large volumes of streaming cybersecurity data. The application also automates real-time analysis and response, generating synthetic data to train AI models that can accurately identify risks and run hypothetical scenarios.

Therefore, the NIM Agent Blueprint can help enterprises enhance and streamline cybersecurity by improving efficiency and reducing the time required to identify threats and potential hostile activities.

Vulnerability detection and remediation are top use cases for generative AI in software delivery, as AI-enhanced cybersecurity can detect and respond to potential threats in real time—often before human analysts are aware of them. With generative AI, cybersecurity applications can quickly digest and interpret information from a multitude of data sources, including natural language, to better understand the context in which potential vulnerabilities might be exploited.

For example, Nvidia states that it can analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate a breach, as well as automate routine security tasks, freeing up human experts to focus on more complex challenges.

Deloitte is one of the first customers to use the new container security application, incorporating it into their cybersecurity solutions to support the analysis of open-source software proxies, helping enterprises build secure AI.

Mike Morris of Deloitte said: "Cybersecurity has become a critical pillar in protecting digital infrastructure in the US and globally. By integrating Nvidia's NIM Agent Blueprint into our cybersecurity solutions, we are able to provide our clients with increased speed and accuracy in identifying and mitigating potential security threats."

The NIM Agent Blueprint is included in Nvidia's AI Enterprise cloud-native software platform, which is used for developing and deploying AI applications.
