Faraday Future, under Jia Yueting, announced that it will change its Nasdaq stock ticker from FFIE to FAAI in early 2025 to better reflect the company's ongoing focus on artificial intelligence (AI) strategies. The company plans to announce the detailed date and plan for the ticker change in January 2025 and will host an "FF Open AI Day" event, inviting partners from the AI industry to discuss the future of AI in the mobility sector.
FF Global CEO Matthias Aydt stated that AI has been a cornerstone of FF since its inception. The new stock ticker FAAI will better represent the company's strategic direction. As FF's AI technology empowers the FX strategy, the company aims to fill the gap in the U.S. AIEV (AI Electric Vehicle) market by creating an exceptional price-performance ratio AIEV, including AI cockpit features, to fully promote the comprehensive AI transformation of the U.S. EV industry.
FF has a strong foundation in AI technology, with AI being the core capability of the "FF aiHyper6x4 Technology Architecture 2.0." By leveraging a specialized large model in the vertical field of mobility, integrating computation, algorithms, and data across domains, as well as achieving "end-to-end" full-link integration, it realizes a "fully AI-enabled technology architecture" across four major systems and six major technology platforms through the "Four AI Engines."
