On April 21, 2025, Shenzhen University officially unveiled its School of Artificial Intelligence, marking a significant step forward in the university's AI education and research. According to Shenzhen TV's Deep Vision News, the school will establish a fundamental research center, a computing power platform, and, in collaboration with Tencent Cloud, an industry academy to foster deep integration of industry, academia, and research.

Currently, the School of Artificial Intelligence boasts a strong team of approximately 80 faculty and researchers, including 2 Chinese Academy of Sciences academicians, 1 Japanese Academy of Engineering academician, 5 national-level talents, and 2 national youth talents. Based on an innovative disciplinary layout, the school has built a complete undergraduate, master's, and doctoral program covering cutting-edge fields such as fundamental AI theories and embodied intelligence, aiming to cultivate AI professionals with a global perspective and innovative practical abilities.
