This model can provide more accurate answers by simultaneously processing text and image-related information. The new model excels in content recognition, understanding, and reasoning capabilities, and features more nuanced visual description abilities, bringing stronger intelligent processing capabilities to enterprise users.
At the press conference, Tan Dai revealed that the Doubao Visual Understanding Model has not only achieved significant breakthroughs in technology but has also drastically reduced its pricing. Since May of this year, the industry price of the Doubao model has dropped by 99%, allowing enterprise users to adopt this technology with greater confidence.
Currently, the pricing for the Doubao Visual Understanding Model is based on tokens, costing only 0.003 yuan per thousand tokens, which is 85% lower than the industry standard, officially entering the "cent era."
As of now, the daily average token usage for the Doubao model has exceeded 4 trillion, growing more than 33 times in the past seven months, fully demonstrating the market demand and application potential of this technology. With continuous price reductions and technological advancements, the launch of the Doubao model and visual understanding model will accelerate the application pace of more enterprises in their intelligent transformation.
