The daily token usage of the Doubao large model has exceeded 4 trillion, growing more than 33 times since its release in May, demonstrating its widespread application and rapid growth in the industry.

During this conference, Volcano Engine not only introduced a visual understanding model but also released and upgraded several models, enriching the family of large models and further enhancing their capabilities. The Doubao General Model Pro has completed a new version iteration, with its comprehensive task handling ability improved by 32% compared to May, and enhancements in reasoning, instruction following, coding, mathematics, and specialized knowledge capabilities by 13%, 9%, 58%, 43%, and 54%, respectively.

Volcano Engine also launched the veOmniverse + Doubao · 3D Generation Model, a physical world simulation simulator that supports AIGC creation. This simulator features high-fidelity visual rendering capabilities, a large-scale rendering computing power pool, precise physical and sensory simulation functions, and provides an instant-use 3D editor. The Doubao · 3D Generation Model supports text-to-3D, image-to-3D, and multimodal generation, capable of producing high-fidelity, high-quality 3D assets within one minute, including complex objects, object combinations, and large-scale scene generation, while supporting multimodal 3D asset editing.

In addition, Volcano Engine announced that the Doubao · Video Generation Model will officially open for external services in January 2025, allowing users to book experiences for this service on the Volcano Engine official website. These new upgrades and releases mark Volcano Engine's in-depth development in the field of large model technology, providing users with more powerful AI capabilities and further promoting advancements in AIGC creation and physical world simulation technology.
