Recently, data analytics company Coralogix announced the acquisition of the AI observability platform Aporia, aiming to enhance its observability capabilities in AI and machine learning. This acquisition will lead to the establishment of a dedicated AI research center—Coralogix AI, which will invest tens of millions of dollars over the next two years to address fundamental issues in the AI field such as transparency, security, monitoring, governance, and control.
Through this acquisition, Coralogix's customers will benefit from a unified observability platform that not only bridges the gap between AI systems and traditional software but also provides visibility into data pipelines, infrastructure, and applications, thereby eliminating blind spots and offering actionable insights. Coralogix's CEO Ariel Assaraf stated that with the technology and expertise from Aporia, hundreds of AI teams already using Coralogix will be able to enjoy high-quality visibility, protection, and control of their AI systems.
Prior to the acquisition, Aporia raised $30 million through two funding rounds, including a $25 million round in February 2022.
Investors include Tiger Global Management, Samsung Next Ventures, TLV Partners, and Vertex Ventures Israel. Coralogix plans to leverage Aporia's technology to further advance its AI strategy and provide optimal technical support to its customers.
