Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, recently announced at the 2024 Li Auto AI Talk that the "Li Classmate" AI model app will officially launch on December 27. This app will extend the intelligent experience of Li Auto from the car to the user's mobile device, creating a more convenient and smarter life assistant.

Well-known digital blogger "Flag Super Smart" got an early experience of the app's beta version and praised its powerful features. It is reported that this app can not only answer users' questions in real-time but also accurately identify objects. Whether it’s unfamiliar cars, animals, plants, or various items in daily life, Li Classmate can quickly recognize and provide relevant information. For example, when the blogger asked, "What is the tiered electricity price in Zhuhai, Guangdong?", Li Classmate immediately provided the tiered electricity pricing system for Zhuhai.

The blogger tested the app by pointing the phone at various items such as a rabbit doll, wireless headphones, Mac mini, and Logitech mouse, and Li Classmate accurately recognized them all. It could even identify the model and price of the Logitech mouse and estimate the area of curtains, showcasing its impressive accuracy.

In addition, Li Classmate can answer questions related to daily life, such as "Should I place a cushion on the sofa?" and "What are the effects of cushions on the body?", with the entire voice interaction process being very smooth, demonstrating its strong natural language processing capabilities.

It is understood that the Li Classmate app is an AI application developed by Li Auto based on the Mind GPT model, which first migrates the companionship of family members from the car to the mobile device. Li Xiang stated that the move of Li Classmate from the car to mobile is primarily based on two considerations:

First, in the long run, a true AI product should be able to autonomously use all devices and have access to all services, provided it has a foundational model.

Second, it aims to allow Li Auto's more than 1 million users and their families (approximately 3-5 million people) to experience a consistent AI product not only in the car but also on mobile phones, computers, and even future glasses.

The launch of the Li Classmate app signifies that Li Auto is actively expanding its AI ecosystem to provide users with a more convenient and smarter living experience. The app's launch will undoubtedly inject new vitality into mobile AI applications, which we can look forward to.
