DeepSeek has announced an important notice today. Due to tight server resources, the API recharge service will be suspended starting today. The company stated that users can still use their existing account balance, but no new recharges will be accepted for now.
Meanwhile, DeepSeek also announced its product price adjustment plan. The promotional period for the DeepSeek-chat model will end at 24:00 on February 8, 2025. After the promotion expires, the model will implement a new pricing standard: input tokens will be charged at 2 yuan per million, while output tokens will be charged at 8 yuan per million.
Additionally, the newly launched DeepSeek-reasoner model adopts a higher pricing strategy, charging 4 yuan per million for input tokens and 16 yuan per million for output tokens.
This series of adjustments reflects the resource pressures faced by AI service providers, as well as the dynamic changes in market pricing trends.
