The announcement mainly focuses on three aspects: the definition of originality, the definition of AI usage, and the rules for penalties. Jinjiang stated that to ensure that AI enhances efficiency without affecting the author's originality as the primary creator, authors are currently allowed to use AI within three levels: text-based assistance for proofreading, creative assistance for elements, and creative assistance for outlines. Any usage beyond these three categories will be deemed as affecting originality and is prohibited.

For works that violate the rules of AI-assisted writing, Jinjiang will impose penalties such as locking chapters, issuing a yellow card for one month, and permanent bans from rankings (including both manual and natural rankings). If the violating work is a VIP article, all subscription revenue for the problematic chapter will be refunded, and the chapter must revert to the original manuscript before AI usage to be unlocked.
