Lenovo Group's third quarter financial report for the fiscal year 2024 shows that the company achieved revenue of 135.1 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 20%; net profit reached 4.98 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 106%. While delivering impressive results, Lenovo also announced significant progress in its AI strategy.
As the world's first, Lenovo will deploy the DeepSeek large model locally on AI PCs. Previously, the Xiao Tian personal intelligent agent within the Lenovo Tianxi personal intelligent system (Tianxi AS) has fully integrated with the DeepSeek-R1 high-performance large model, achieving comprehensive coverage across core terminals such as AI PCs, smartphones, and tablets.
In terms of ecosystem development, Lenovo Tianxi has integrated over 1,700 AI applications, covering various professional fields including healthcare, law, and education. Additionally, the company has partnered with Muxi Co., Ltd. to launch an all-in-one solution based on the DeepSeek large model, supporting the full chain of applications from training large models with hundreds of billions of parameters to scenario-based inference. For overseas markets, Lenovo has released the AI Now personal intelligent agent based on the Llama large model.
Recently, Huatai Securities listed Lenovo as one of China's "seven tech giants," believing that the technological breakthroughs of DeepSeek will help the Chinese technology industry chain initiate a new cycle of innovation. Lenovo's ongoing efforts in the AI field confirm this development trend.
