On March 3rd, Baidu Wenku announced the full launch of "Free Canvas," an AI creation tool jointly developed with Baidu Netdisk.
"Free Canvas" is a pioneering content operating system created by Baidu Wenku and Baidu Netdisk. Leveraging large model technology, it breaks down the barriers between public and private content. Users can achieve mixed understanding, generation, and creation of multi-format, multi-modal files through simple "drag-and-drop" operations. Images, PPTs, PDFs, videos, and audio files can all be directly dragged into "Free Canvas" for AI creation, significantly lowering the barrier to entry.
During the creation process, users can directly input instructions, such as "the process of Tu Youyou's discovery of artemisinin," using the "AI Web Search" function. The system will quickly integrate resources from across the web and generate structured search results. Additionally, users can insert materials via local upload, Wenku upload, Netdisk upload, pasting web links, or simply dragging and dropping, without worrying about file format limitations.
"Free Canvas" also supports personalized creation. Users can "annotate key content" in document materials, selecting sentences or paragraphs to annotate and choosing annotation purposes, such as direct copying, referencing language style, or referencing main points. Annotated content can be edited and deleted multiple times. Users can view annotations on the canvas page and generate and create new content through selection, achieving the fusion of multi-format, multi-modal content.
In terms of sharing and storage, "Free Canvas" offers great convenience. Users can share, view, and re-edit content directly through a link. They can also save content to their personal Baidu Netdisk with one click, ensuring data security and allowing for easy review.
