SiliconCloud officially announced that Trae, the first AI-native Integrated Development Environment (IDE) launched by ByteDance, has integrated with the SiliconCloud platform to provide developers with a more efficient programming experience.
Trae now integrates multiple SiliconCloud models. Users can access various coding models like DeepSeek-R1, V3, QWQ-32B, and Qwen2.5-Coder simply by using their API keys. This flexible selection caters to developers' diverse model needs. Furthermore, the SiliconCloud platform offers a free distilled version of the DeepSeek-R1 model and other API services, empowering developers with "Token freedom" for a more efficient development process.
Integrating SiliconCloud platform models is straightforward, following the official tutorial:
Simply log in to the Trae website, download and log in. You can then add models through two methods. The first is to open the model list in the bottom right corner of the input box and click "Add Model";
The second method is to go to the "Trae AI" section in your profile settings, select "Model Management," and then click "Add Model." In the Add Model window, select "SiliconCloud" as the service provider and choose the appropriate model. You can select DeepSeek-R1 & V3 models, or configure other models like QWQ-32B through custom model settings.
Next, you need to fill in your API key. After clicking "Get API Key," Trae will redirect you to the SiliconCloud API key configuration page. Create a new API key on this page, copy it, and return to Trae. The system will automatically check the key's validity. If the connection is successful, the model will be added; otherwise, an error message will be displayed to help you troubleshoot.
The SiliconCloud platform has launched several cutting-edge models covering various applications, including language, vector, re-ranking, and text generation, and is collaborating with multiple AI applications.
