Last night, Unitree Robotics' Unitree G1 humanoid robot, launched in May 2024, made its debut as the first AI robot anchor, live-streaming and selling products on the "交个朋友" Taobao livestreaming platform. Standing approximately 127 centimeters tall, the G1 boasts agile movement and AI intelligence. This innovative e-commerce application exploration yielded remarkable results, exceeding 1.28 million yuan in sales within just 5 minutes of the broadcast.

During the livestream, the Unitree G1 robot, in a human-like manner, explained and promoted Unitree Robotics' GO2 robot dog, priced from 9997 yuan. While the robot anchor presented the product, the GO2 robot dog performed a series of actions including handshakes, New Year greetings, and jumps.

Notably, the Unitree G1 not only handled product sales but also interacted with the human anchor. Its witty responses to impromptu questions sparked lively discussions among netizens, earning it the playful title of "high-EQ robot." The success of this livestream marks a significant step for Unitree Robotics in exploring commercial applications for robots.
