According to Kyodo News, Japan, as the rotating chair of the G7 this year, will lead the formulation of the "Hiroshima AI Process" for managing generative AI. Facing the potential risks posed by generative AI, Japan plans to propose countermeasures for developers by the end of this year, introducing international guidelines. The G7 will require developers to disclose system functionalities and risks in their code of conduct, and also call for the development of digital watermarking technology to distinguish AI-generated content. The Japanese government aims to ensure the proper use of generative AI through these measures.
