NVIDIA's official blog recently announced that their AI-powered video super-resolution technology, RTX Video Super Resolution, now supports the RTX 20 series GPUs, including the RTX 2080 Ti and the RTX 20 Super series. Previously, this technology was only available for the RTX 30 and 40 series GPUs, and it enhances video quality in Chrome or Edge browsers through AI and tensor cores, supporting up to 4K resolution. The support for the RTX 20 series GPUs allows users who are still using these older GPUs to enhance their gaming experience. RTX Video Super Resolution is one of NVIDIA's many attempts to provide upgrades for older products using AI. This move may also alleviate the high demand for the newer RTX 30 series GPUs.
