Microsoft has rebranded its AI chat interface Bing Chat to Copilot in a bid to compete with ChatGPT. This move marks a significant update to Microsoft's AI chat interface, which was previously used in Bing, Microsoft Edge, and Windows 11. The general manager of Microsoft 365 explained that both Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise will now be unified under the name Copilot. Microsoft currently positions Copilot as the free version of its AI chatbot, with Copilot for Microsoft 365 offered as a paid option. However, Microsoft's efforts to promote AI technology have not met expectations, and Google still dominates the market in terms of market share.
