Recently, Canadian AI image startup Ideogram launched a new feature – Canvas, which is currently in beta testing. The Canvas feature includes not only standard image generation but also offers a variety of powerful options such as Remix and Extend, which help users expand images beyond their original borders while maintaining a consistent style. This tool can be used to resize images, adjust compositions, or adapt content to different screen formats without losing the original structure.

The founder of the music remix application Hook, Gaurav Sharma, aims to use AI to enable music fans to legally create remixed versions of their favorite tracks for sharing on short video platforms like TikTok. Hook plans to allow users to choose song snippets of no more than 60 seconds and use AI tools to add their own style. Hook addresses copyright and compensation issues, enabling creators to use AI to make music without infringing on copyrights. The app has secured $3 million in seed funding, including from Steve.
