Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held the founding conference of the Artificial Intelligence Standardization Technical Committee in Beijing. The committee will play a fundamental, strategic, and leading role in promoting high-quality development of artificial intelligence and empowering new industrialization through standards. The committee is designated as MIIT/TC1 and will primarily be responsible for the development and revision of industry standards in the field of artificial intelligence. The secretariat is located at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, marking the first standardization technical committee established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, signifying the progress of China's artificial intelligence industry.
