It serves as an excellent middle ground between the open-weight product and the flagship model. Mistral Small inherits the same innovations as Mistral Large, including RAG-enablement and function calling. We've streamlined the endpoint supply by offering open-weight endpoints at competitive pricing and launched the new optimized model endpoints mistral-small-2402 and mistral-large-2402.
