Grok-2 is xAI's cutting-edge language model featuring state-of-the-art reasoning capabilities. This release includes two members of the Grok family: Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini. Both models are now available to Grok users on the 𝕏 platform. Grok-2 represents a significant advancement over Grok-1.5, offering leading-edge capabilities in chatting, programming, and reasoning. Meanwhile, xAI introduces Grok-2 mini, a compact yet powerful sibling model to Grok-2. An early version of Grok-2 has been tested under the name 'sus-column-r' on the LMSYS leaderboard, surpassing Claude 3.5 Sonnet and GPT-4-Turbo in overall Elo scores.
