ComfyUI V1 is a desktop client tool designed to enhance work efficiency and productivity. It offers a smooth desktop experience for non-technical users by providing features such as code signing and security assurances, cross-platform support, automatic updates, a lightweight package, recommended Python environment, built-in ComfyUI manager, tab functionality, customizable keyboard shortcuts, automatic resource import, and an integrated log viewer. ComfyUI V1 also introduces a new user interface with features like a top menu bar, easier access to models and logs, a model library, workflow browser, and automatic model downloading. Additionally, ComfyUI V1 launches the Comfy Node Registry (CNR), a custom node registry similar to NPM, aimed at creating a safer and more stable custom node user experience.
