CommonProductWritingScreenwritingFilm Database
ScriptViz is a script visualization tool developed based on Stanford University's MovieNet database. It analyzes the hierarchical annotations of 1,100 films, including genre tags at the film level, location tags at the scene level, film style tags at the shot level, and character bounding box annotations at the frame level. This assists writers in enriching dialogue details and crafting unfinished dialogues through visualizations during the creative process. The tool's main advantage lies in its ability to retrieve corresponding cinematic scene sequences based on the fixed and variable properties entered by the writer, thereby facilitating better decision-making in script creation. ScriptViz was collaboratively developed by Anyi Rao, Jean-Peïc Chou, and Maneesh Agrawala from Stanford University and was showcased at ACM UIST 2024.
