On August 3, 2024, Renmin University of China and Baichuan Intelligence jointly established the "Large Model Joint Laboratory," aimed at promoting the innovation and development of large model technology.
The establishment of the joint laboratory signifies that both parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in cutting-edge technology areas such as large model pre-training, alignment, retrieval enhancement, intelligent agents, and multi-modal technology. Renmin University of China will leverage its talent and technological advantages in large model research, combined with Baichuan Intelligence's strength in engineering and product development, to jointly advance the research and application of related technologies.
In the future, both parties expect to achieve breakthroughs in scientific research, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation through multi-level, multi-domain, and multi-form cooperation, contributing to the development of China's large model technology.
